John Page, the owner of Interior Specialties, reached out to the Warrior Village Project, eager to help us with our drywall needs after being told about our project by Prevost Construction. John spoke to Nigel Smith, Manager of the San Diego Branch of L&W Supply, who agreed to sell Interior Specialties the materials for the job at cost. John offered to have his staff install the drywall, although their work schedule was so busy that it was going to be difficult to fit us in before September. In 2002, HomeAid San Diego was founded to fight homelessness by bringing together builders, community leaders, trade partners, donors, volunteers and non-profit professional care providers. I asked Staci Reidinger, President of the HomeAid San Diego Board, if HomeAid could arrange the donation of insulation and drywall for the cottage we are building for Wounded Warrior Homes. Within a week, she had enlisted the help of fellow board member Jamie Prevost, CEO & President of Prevost Construction. Jamie started calling trade partners, and Corey Dudley of Dudley Insulation, Inc. and John Page of Interior Specialties, Inc. were quick to offer their help.
