Doug Williams of WillCalc helped architect Michael E. Robinson design our first cottage to comply with California’s Building Code energy standards. When the cottage was completed, Doug recruited New Earth Energy Specialists, owned by Phil Ortiz, to inspect the cottage to make sure that it complied with these standards, a required step before a house can pass its final building inspection. We are grateful to Phil and his colleagues for donating their inspection services. Phil is well known for his community service. In addition to operating a successful business, he is an active community volunteer and has served on the El Cajon City Council since May 2019. Thank you Phil for your service!
