The Grainger Foundation was our first Sponsor, giving us a $5,000 grant to kick off our program at San Marcos High School.  In a demonstration of Grainger’s continuing support, Carlos Ramirez, the Manager of Grainger’s San Marcos store, sent me an email asking if we could use some tools, including a cordless DeWalt impact driver, a DeWalt drill, work gloves and utility knives.  The tools have found a home at Urban Corps new facility in Escondido, where young people working in Urban Corps’ Construction Services program can use them to build a Moveable Tiny House.  Thank you Grainger and Carlos for supporting our youth and veterans!
